A couple of the Danskin jackety things are actually half a step above casual, so I don't (I hope) look like a total slob when I go out of the campsite. Seems like just yesterday you left! Many areas of MN yesterday had heavy rains & high wind all day long : ( you're right; not everyday while traveling will be bright blue skies and a warm sun- darn! Thank you for the info on what not (& suggestions what to bring) for clothing, I too always feel like I pack way to much and fancier outfits (cardigans & ballet flats) thinking I want to look stylish while camping and basically I end up wearing a tshirt, jeans tennis shoes & a hoodie!
